Poth-O-Carry Hanging Baskets

These fully adjustable baskets hang inside the tank rim (rimmed or rimless versions available) and hold plants like pothos, bamboo, peace lilies, and other above-waterline plants at whatever height you want. Fill them with hydroponic media or large pea gravel — skip regular aquarium soil, which is too fine and will leach out through the drainage. Removable baskets make pruning or plant maintenance easy: unhook the basket, take it to the sink, work on it, and hang it back.

Fluval FX4/FX6 Pre-Filter Sponge Attachment

The FX-series canister filters have intakes too large for standard pre-filter sponge sleeves. This new attachment fits directly onto the FX intake and adds two sponge intake points, catching debris and detritus before it reaches the canister — extending maintenance intervals significantly. Expect a slight reduction in flow due to the smaller sponge openings, but the tradeoff is a cleaner filter and less frequent servicing. Openings are small enough that fish can't get pulled in.
