Rotala Indica — Bunch

$5.99 USD
by Nature Aquariums
Type: AQUARIUM PLANTS

Rotala Indica, sold as a hand-tied bunch, is a popular stem plant that grows tall and thick, making it a suitable background plant. Round leaves grow horizontally along the stems, and tips can blush red under strong light, CO2, and fertilization.

Skill Level Easy
CO2 Not Required (recommended for red coloration)
Requires Aqua Soil Not required, but recommended
Type Stem
Max Height 5-12"
Placement Background
Light Level Medium (approx. 40-70 PAR)
Origin Southeast Asia
Other Also available Potted. Frequent trimming keeps growth thick rather than tall and sparse.

Care & Planting: Remove the foam/wrap from the stems and plant into quality substrate. Handle gently — leaves are fragile.

A note on appearance: Many stem plants, including this one, are harvested in their above-water (emersed) form, and the photo may not reflect how it looks once fully adjusted to life underwater. Leaf shape and coloration commonly shift as the plant transitions to submersed growth — don't be surprised if new growth looks different from what arrived in your order. Give it a few weeks to acclimate before judging its final look.
