Care & Planting: Plant the rhizome/root system in nutrient-rich substrate. Cryptocoryne prefer stable water parameters and established tanks.

A note on melting: Cryptocoryne (as well as Amazon Swords and other Echinodorus) can experience "melting" — sudden dieback of leaves — after planting or a change in water conditions. This is a normal stress response; leave the root system in place and new, tank-adapted growth will typically emerge within a few weeks.
