Myriophyllum sp. Guyana — Tissue Culture

$12.95 USD

Myriophyllum sp. 'Guyana' is a delicate stem plant novelty from southern Brazil with a light green color and a densely branching, bushy habit — well suited to the middle-to-background of nano tanks. It pairs strikingly with red-leaved species for contrast. This is a tissue-culture cup, grown in vitro to guarantee zero pests, algae, or snails.

Skill Level Moderate
CO2 Optional (recommended for stronger, fuller growth)
Requires Aqua Soil Recommended
Type Stem
Max Height 4-10"
Placement Midground to background
Light Level Medium to High (approx. 50-100 PAR)
Origin South America (Brazil)
Other Particularly striking planted alongside red-leaved species for color contrast.

Care & Planting: Rinse the tissue culture gel off, then plant individual stems into substrate. Propagate by cutting head cuttings or side shoots and replanting.

A note on appearance: Many stem plants, including this one, are harvested in their above-water (emersed) form, and the photo may not reflect how it looks once fully adjusted to life underwater. Leaf shape and coloration commonly shift as the plant transitions to submersed growth — don't be surprised if new growth looks different from what arrived in your order. Give it a few weeks to acclimate before judging its final look.
