Mentha aquatica, commonly known as Large Leaf Aquatic Mint, is a favorite with water gardeners for its delightful fragrance and miniature lavender-pink blooms that attract butterflies. Leaves are ovate to ovate-lanceolate and measure 1-3 inches. Grows in sun to part shade in moist soil or water up to 2" deep. Foliage can be used in teas and jellies.
