Heteranthera Zosterifolia, commonly called Stargrass, is a marsh plant from Brazil named for its sharp, spikey leaf formations. A versatile stem plant that fills in nicely in the midground to background.

Other Bright light yields bushy growth; moderate light yields looser, upward growth. Needs regular pruning once established, or it can grow unruly — tolerates heavy trimming well.

Care & Planting: Trim the ends of stems, group several together, and bury them in the substrate, keeping other foliage clear of them.

A note on appearance: Many stem plants, including this one, are harvested in their above-water (emersed) form, and the photo may not reflect how it looks once fully adjusted to life underwater. Leaf shape and coloration commonly shift as the plant transitions to submersed growth — don't be surprised if new growth looks different from what arrived in your order. Give it a few weeks to acclimate before judging its final look.
