Episcia 'Emerald Velvet' is a trailing gesneriad prized for its velvety, dark emerald-green leaves. It spreads via stolons (runners), much like a strawberry plant, making it a lush groundcover or trailing terrarium and houseplant specimen. Not aquatic — should not be submerged in an aquarium.
