Didiplis diandra, commonly called "Diandra," is a stem plant found growing in lakes and streams throughout the US. Thin, needle-like leaves can show bright red tips under high light with fertilization and CO2. Best grown in groups or bunches for a full, bushy effect.

Light Level Moderate to High (approx. 50-100 PAR)

Other Also sold as a bunch plant, tied for easy planting.

Care & Planting: Propagate by cutting anywhere along the stem and replanting the cuttings. To keep the plant low and spreading laterally via runners, trim frequently and grow under high light.

A note on appearance: Many stem plants, including this one, are harvested in their above-water (emersed) form, and the photo may not reflect how it looks once fully adjusted to life underwater. Leaf shape and coloration commonly shift as the plant transitions to submersed growth — don't be surprised if new growth looks different from what arrived in your order. Give it a few weeks to acclimate before judging its final look.
