Cyperus Helferi is a grass like plant which can be grown both submerged and emersed.  The leaves are long and thin and can grow up to 20 inches long, making it a suitable plant for the background of your aquascape.  It is relatively easy to care for as it is an undemanding species.  Co2 is not necessary but can aid in faster growth.  Water temperature should remain below 80 degrees for best results
