Cryptocoryne Wendtii "Sindoor" (Hindi for vermillion) is a reddish-orange cultivar of the popular Wendtii species, adding warm color to the foreground or midground of a planted tank.

Care & Planting: Rinse tissue culture gel off before planting into quality substrate. Crypts dislike being moved once established — pick a spot and leave it. To propagate, cut off new plantlets growing from the mother plant.

A note on "crypt melt": Cryptocoryne are well known for shedding their leaves after being moved, replanted, or exposed to a sudden change in water parameters. This is normal — new, better-adapted leaves typically regrow within a few weeks once the plant settles in. Don't panic if it happens; just maintain stable conditions and give it time to recover.
