Cryptocoryne Wendtii Brown has slightly wavy, sometimes dimpled leaves that take on a deep, dark brown color under good lighting — a striking contrast against green water trumpets. Like other Sri Lankan Cryptocoryne, it tolerates hard water well, making it a good pick for cichlid tanks.

Care & Planting: Remove from the pot and root wool before planting into quality substrate. Crypts dislike being moved once established — pick a spot and leave it. To propagate, cut off new plantlets growing from the mother rhizome.
A note on "crypt melt": Cryptocoryne are well known for shedding their leaves after being moved, replanted, or exposed to a sudden change in water parameters. This is normal — new, better-adapted leaves typically regrow within a few weeks once the plant settles in. Don't panic if it happens; just maintain stable conditions and give it time to recover.
