Water Sprite is a fast-growing, highly adaptable fern popular with beginners. It can be grown fully submerged (rooted in substrate or left loose to float) or emersed, and is prized as a nutrient sponge that helps outcompete algae. Its finely divided, lacy leaves also provide excellent cover for fry and shrimp.
