Florida Aquatic Nurseries grows Aponogeton boivinianus. This aquatic plant is native to Madagascar and is prized for its long, dark green leaves with a distinctive hammered (crinkled) texture, making it an excellent focal point in the planted aquarium. Aponogeton boivinianus is a bulb plant and may occasionally enter a period of dormancy. If this happens, simply be patient — new foliage will emerge in time. If needed, the bulb can be removed from the substrate and given a rest period in moist sand before being replanted.
