Common Name: Anubias Nana Snow White

Note: title listed as "White" but the common name on file is "Snow White" — these appear to be the same cultivar. Flagged for review in case a separate "regular cup" sibling listing exists elsewhere in the catalog.

Anubias Nana Snow White is a rare, farmed variant of Anubias prized for its striking white-green color variation. Unlike most Anubias, it requires more light to thrive and develop its coloration. Every plant is unique — leaf color ranges from green to white depending on light and CO2 levels.

Skill Level Easy
CO2 Optional (recommended to enhance white coloration)
Requires Aqua Soil No — grows attached to hardscape or driftwood; benefits from, but does not require, nutrient-rich substrate
Type Rhizome (Epiphyte) — Tissue Culture
Max Height 2-4"
Placement Foreground, attached to hardscape
Light Level Medium to High (approx. 40-80 PAR)
Origin Cultivated variety (Anubias nana lineage); species origin West Africa
Other Family: Araceae. pH 6-7.5. This is the small-cup portion (single plant); a regular cup (3-4 plants) size may also exist — verify with photos.

Care & Planting: Rinse or soak off the tissue-culture gel before planting. Attach the rhizome to driftwood or rock — do not bury it in substrate. Keep water parameters stable during acclimation to avoid melt.
