Alternanthera Lilacina (also sold as Alternanthera Reineckii 'Lilacina') is a striking variety with reddish-purple stems that contrast against brownish-green leaves. New growth takes on hues of pink to red under strong light and CO2. This is a tissue-culture cup, grown in vitro to guarantee zero pests, algae, or snails.

Care & Planting: Remove the tissue culture gel before planting by rinsing under water or gently squeezing it off, then plant into quality substrate. As with all farm-grown stem plants, the photo may not reflect its submersed look — leaf shape and color often shift once the plant adjusts to underwater growth.
