Clinopodium cf. brownei — commonly sold as Creeping Charlie and formerly known under the incorrect name Micromeria brownei — is a small-leaved creeping marsh plant with a strong mint odor when crushed. It grows equally well fully submerged in an aquarium or emersed above the waterline in a paludarium, where it displays small lavender flowers.
