Other Family Lycopodiaceae. Also known as Spike Moss. Grows larger and spreads more sporadically than Selaginella kraussiana — will fill an entire enclosure if left unpruned. Yellowing leaves indicate overwatering. Not an aquarium plant — submerging it completely will kill it.

Care & Planting: Selaginella wallichii is a vigorous groundcover for terrarium-like setups and vivariums. Remove the cotton packing from the roots before planting into quality soil a few inches deep. Keep out of direct light and maintain consistent moisture with good humidity; prune regularly if you want to keep growth contained.
