Echinodorus 'Ozelot' is an excellent sword plant hybrid — a cross between Echinodorus schluteri 'Leopard' and Echinodorus 'Barthii' — displaying red new leaves with dark spotting reminiscent of an ocelot's coat. Older leaves mature to green while retaining some spotting. One of the easier sword varieties to grow, well suited to midground or background placement.

Other "Mother Pot" size — a larger, more mature specimen than a standard bare-root or small potted sword.

Care & Planting: Plant into nutrient-rich substrate; as a heavy root feeder, it benefits from root tabs or aqua soil. Like other Echinodorus, older outer leaves may yellow and melt back as the plant establishes in a new tank — trim these away and new growth will follow. This is normal and not a sign of poor health.
