Algae Control by Green Water Labs is a plant based treatment effective against many aquatic algae types and cyanobacteria. Algae Control is a water soluble liquid that can be applied as a foliar spray or added directly to tanks and bodies of water. The active ingredients target and inhibit various forms of algae and cyanobacteria in the water column. The specialized formula is designed to attack filamentous, suspended, and attached species by targeting enzymes necessary for photosynthesis.
Algae Control is safe for ecosystems and will not harm fish or other aquatic plants when following dosage guidelines. As with all aquarium liquids, Algae Control is not designed for human consumption and should be handled with care during administration.
