Subwassertang (Süsswassertang) is a free-floating aquatic plant, believed to be the sterile gametophyte stage of a fern rather than a true moss, though it's commercially treated as a moss-type plant. It's a great addition to shrimp tanks in particular, providing natural cover for fry and skittish fish. Slow to establish at first, it grows well once settled and can be left free-floating or attached to driftwood/rocks.
