Vietnamese Eriocaulon is a Southeast Asian plant that grows wild in both stagnant and flowing waters, with a tall stem and long, whitish, needle-like leaves. It grows many lateral shoots, giving it a bushy appearance — a beautiful accent or filler for midground/background, especially in Dutch-style tanks.

Other Needs a balanced nutrient supply including nitrate, phosphate, iron, and micronutrients — some hobbyists dedicate a whole tank to this species alone.

Care & Planting: Plant into an acidic, soft-water-friendly substrate. Trim carefully and infrequently — this plant doesn't respond well to trimming. Cuttings for propagation should be no more than 2" long, and it's often best to simply replace trimmed plants with fresh cuttings.
