Anubias Nana Paxing

$9.95 USD

Common Name: Anubias Paxing

Anubias Paxing is a relatively new Anubias variety with small, narrow, glossy leaves that grow almost flat and horizontal — a compact, low-profile alternative to standard Anubias Nana. Like all Anubias, it is hardy, undemanding, and suitable for beginners. It can be grown submerged in an aquarium or emersed in a terrarium-style setup.

Skill Level Easy
CO2 Not Required
Requires Aqua Soil No — grows attached to hardscape or driftwood; benefits from, but does not require, nutrient-rich substrate
Type Rhizome (Epiphyte)
Max Height 3-5"
Placement Foreground / Midground, attached to hardscape
Light Level Low (approx. 15-30 PAR)
Origin West Africa
Other Family: Araceae. pH 6-7.5. Slow to moderate grower; leaves can be prone to algae if placed under high light.

Care & Planting: Attach the rhizome to driftwood, rock, or other hardscape with thread or glue — do not bury it in the substrate, as this will cause the rhizome to rot. Propagate by cutting or pulling apart the rhizome. Please remove any packaging pot/wool before planting.
