NATUREMAX BIO is a natural, extremely light filter media for small and large aquarium filters. Thanks to their unique structure and ideal microporous properties, they provide an excellent environment for nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria.
How does it work?
The microporous structure of NATUREMAX BIO provides optimal conditions for colonisation with nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria, allowing the cartridge to rid the water of both nitrates, nitrites and ammonia. Furthermore, NATUREMAX BIO is a natural media which does not change the pH, kh or gh values of water, which is important for maintaining its stable parameters.
Where to use?
NATUREMAX BIO are extremely versatile and can be used in various types of aquarium filters – both internal and external – and filtration systems. NATUREMAX BIO is a light cartridge which does not significantly increase the weight of the filter, which positively influences the ease of its servicing.
How long does it last?
NATUREMAX BIO permanent media that does not decompose. Cleaning of the cartridge consists of rinsing it in aquarium water. It is recommended to partially replace about 50% of the cartridge every 4-6 months.
