Common Name: Bucephalandra Lamandau Mini Purple

Buce Lamandau Mini Purple is an easy aquarium plant with tiny leaves. Grown in-vitro as a tissue culture, this cup arrives free of pests, algae, and snails. It can be grown submerged or immersed, and is very slow-growing, with new leaves sprouting from long, thin rhizomes.

Skill Level Easy
CO2 Not Required
Requires Aqua Soil No — grows attached to hardscape, not planted in substrate
Type Rhizome (Epiphyte) — Tissue Culture
Max Height Very compact — leaves approx. 1cm
Placement Foreground / Midground, attached to hardscape
Light Level Low to Medium (approx. 15-40 PAR)
Origin Endemic to Borneo
Other Family: Araceae. pH 6-8. Also available Potted. Coloration and final size depend on tank conditions; photos are representative and may vary.

Care & Planting: Rinse tissue-culture gel off, then attach the rhizome to driftwood or rock with superglue gel or thread — do not bury it in substrate, as this will cause it to melt and rot.
