Littorella Uniflora, commonly called Shoreweed, is a low-growing carpet plant native to freshwater shores across Europe. Rosettes send out runners that fill in as a dense lawn of fleshy leaves. This is a tissue-culture cup, grown in vitro to guarantee zero pests, algae, or snails.

Skill Level Moderate
CO2 Optional (higher light and CO2 keep leaves shorter and denser)
Requires Aqua Soil Recommended
Type Rooted (Carpet, non-Sword/Crypt)
Max Height 1-2"
Placement Foreground carpet
Light Level Low to Medium (approx. 20-50 PAR); higher light produces a tighter, shorter carpet
Origin Europe
Other Grows slowly; plant rosettes about an inch apart for the fastest fill-in. Can be grown submerged or emersed.

Care & Planting: Rinse the tissue culture gel off, then plant individual rosettes about an inch apart into substrate. Propagate by separating runners and daughter plants.
