Eriocaulon 'Polaris' (Eriocaulon cinereum) is a small, attractive pipewort — rare and harder to keep. It's finicky, needing softer water and a rich substrate since it draws most of its nutrients from the root system. It makes an excellent, miniature foreground accent when it thrives.
