Crinum calamistratum is an aquatic plant native to Africa, prized for its long, flowing leaves with tightly undulating margins — best used as a centerpiece in the aquarium. Like other Crinum species, it grows from a bulb, letting it survive periods of low water in its natural environment, and can even grow fully emersed in humid conditions. It produces large white flowers, typically while emersed, though it will occasionally flower underwater.
