Rotala 'Bonsai' (also sold as Ammania Bonsai — not to be confused with common Rotala Indica), sold as a hand-tied bunch, is a rare, slow-growing stem plant suited to small tanks, with stem tips that flush reddish-orange under strong light and fertilization.

Other Also available as Tissue Culture. Often melts if planted submersed right away — growing it emersed first and transitioning slowly helps it establish.

Care & Planting: Remove foam/wrap before planting. Not recommended for beginners due to its more demanding care.

A note on appearance: Many stem plants, including this one, are harvested in their above-water (emersed) form, and the photo may not reflect how it looks once fully adjusted to life underwater. Leaf shape and coloration commonly shift as the plant transitions to submersed growth — don't be surprised if new growth looks different from what arrived in your order. Give it a few weeks to acclimate before judging its final look.
