Rotala H'ra (also sold as Rotala Gia Lai) makes a delicate, dramatic back or mid-ground accent, with profuse thin, pointed red or orange leaves growing from an ascending stem. Hailing from central Vietnam, it's likely a variation of Rotala Rotundifolia. Moderate to high lighting yields the most vivid coloration. Can be grown emersed or submerged.

Care & Planting: Take a cutting from a side shoot or axial root and replant into substrate to propagate. Handle gently — leaves are fragile.

A note on appearance: Many stem plants, including this one, are harvested in their above-water (emersed) form, and the photo may not reflect how it looks once fully adjusted to life underwater. Leaf shape and coloration commonly shift as the plant transitions to submersed growth — don't be surprised if new growth looks different from what arrived in your order. Give it a few weeks to acclimate before judging its final look.
