Nature Aquariums in Lauderhill (Greater Fort Lauderdale) sells more plants than any aquarium store in Florida, and our terrarium section is part of that. Browse humidity-loving ferns, mosses, Selaginella, Fittonia, Peperomia, Philodendron, Begonia, Episcia and carnivorous plants for enclosed terrariums and vivariums, plus marginal and bog plants for paludariums, ripariums and shallow water gardens — then visit us to hand-pick your plants.
Why in-store only?
Because of our high plant sales volume, inventory turns over daily and every plant is inspected at the time of sale. Quantities shown online are estimates. Buying in person means you choose the exact specimens you take home, and our staff can match plants to your enclosure's light, humidity and substrate.
Special orders welcome — in person
Looking for a species we don't have on the bench? We take special orders on terrarium and paludarium plants, but they must be placed in person at the store so we can confirm sourcing, timing, and pricing with you directly.

Do you ship terrarium plants? No — live plants are in-store only.
Which plants work in a paludarium? Mosses, Fittonia, Selaginella, Hemigraphis and ferns for the emersed section; marginal and bog plants where roots sit in water. Ask our staff for a plant list matched to your setup.
Can I special-order a plant? Yes, in person at the store.
