Care & Planting: Philodendron micans, the velvet-leaf philodendron, is a popular, low-maintenance trailing plant. Provide bright to medium indirect light — too much sun can burn the leaves, too little causes leggy growth. Let the top 25-50% of soil dry between waterings to avoid root rot. Propagates easily from stem cuttings rooted in water; pinch or prune regularly to encourage a fuller, bushier habit.
