Care & Planting: Oenanthe javanica 'Flamingo' (variegated water celery) is a hardy marginal pond plant grown for its striking pink-and-white variegated foliage. Plant in wet soil at the pond's edge or in a submerged pot with the crown above the waterline. Full sun brings out the brightest variegation; it tolerates partial shade as well. Being a vigorous spreader, it is best kept containerized in shared pond settings.
